The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kicked at 100% against Greg Plitt's 53%. Kicked also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Greg Plitt's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Greg Plitt sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Kicked sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
