# Farming Simulator 18 vs Real Pool 3D

The clearest difference is rating: Real Pool 3D at 4.6 against Farming Simulator 18's 4.3. Real Pool 3D also leads on ratings volume (68K vs 2.5K) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Farming Simulator 18's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Farming Simulator 18 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Real Pool 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Real Pool 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Real Pool 3D has 68K ratings behind it against 2.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Farming Simulator 18's written reviews are positive against 67% of Real Pool 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Farming Simulator 18 ships an update every 2 months, Real Pool 3D every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
