# Square Panda Letter Lab vs Osmo ABCs

The clearest difference is rating: Osmo ABCs at 3.7 against Square Panda Letter Lab's 3.1. Osmo ABCs also leads on ratings volume (266 vs 14) and device support (3 vs 1). Square Panda Letter Lab's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 19%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Osmo ABCs holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmo ABCs has 266 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Square Panda Letter Lab's written reviews are positive against 19% of Osmo ABCs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
