# Microsoft SharePoint vs VPN Protector & Proxy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VPN Protector & Proxy at 61% against Microsoft SharePoint's 25%. Microsoft SharePoint's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Protector & Proxy sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Microsoft SharePoint asks for nothing beyond the download.

Microsoft SharePoint holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft SharePoint has 142K ratings behind it against 638, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Microsoft SharePoint's written reviews are positive against 61% of VPN Protector & Proxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
