# Microsoft SharePoint vs AARConnect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AARConnect at 100% against Microsoft SharePoint's 25%. Microsoft SharePoint's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Microsoft SharePoint holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft SharePoint has 141K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Microsoft SharePoint's written reviews are positive against 100% of AARConnect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Microsoft SharePoint ships an update every 3 weeks, AARConnect every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
