# Mark Levinson Control vs Devialet Gemini

The clearest difference is rating: Devialet Gemini at 4.6 against Mark Levinson Control's 2.8. Devialet Gemini also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 6). Mark Levinson Control's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Devialet Gemini holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Devialet Gemini has 1.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Mark Levinson Control's written reviews are positive against 57% of Devialet Gemini's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mark Levinson Control ships an update every 21 months, Devialet Gemini every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
