# Five Differences Max Challenge vs Infinite Differences

The clearest difference is update cadence: Infinite Differences at every 6 weeks against Five Differences Max Challenge's every 18 months. Infinite Differences also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (14K vs 14). Five Differences Max Challenge's advantage is review sentiment (76% vs 64%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Five Differences Max Challenge sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Infinite Differences sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Infinite Differences holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infinite Differences has 14K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Five Differences Max Challenge's written reviews are positive against 64% of Infinite Differences's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Five Differences Max Challenge ships an update every 18 months, Infinite Differences every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
