# WallPixel HD vs Arpha Plus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Arpha Plus at none against WallPixel HD's 27. Arpha Plus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). WallPixel HD's advantage is rating (1.9 vs 1.4) and ratings volume (172 vs 22). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WallPixel HD sells 27 one-off in-app purchases. Arpha Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

WallPixel HD holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WallPixel HD has 172 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of WallPixel HD's written reviews are positive against 10% of Arpha Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WallPixel HD ships an update every 2 months, Arpha Plus every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
