# Last vs LaxtTime

Last and LaxtTime both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 78% of LaxtTime's written reviews are positive against 39% of Last's. LaxtTime also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 21 months). Last's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (471 vs 27). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Last sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LaxtTime sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Last holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Last has 471 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Last's written reviews are positive against 78% of LaxtTime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Last ships an update every 21 months, LaxtTime every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
