# Construction Calculator vs Calculator+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Calculator+ at 100% against Construction Calculator's 54%. Calculator+ also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Construction Calculator's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Construction Calculator sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Calculator+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Construction Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Construction Calculator has 625 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Construction Calculator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Calculator+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Construction Calculator ships an update every 6 days, Calculator+ every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
