# Construction Calculator vs Sixteenths

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sixteenths at 100% against Construction Calculator's 54%. Construction Calculator's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (672 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Construction Calculator sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Sixteenths sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Construction Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Construction Calculator has 672 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Construction Calculator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sixteenths's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Construction Calculator ships an update every 5 days, Sixteenths every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
