# Kenmore Smart vs HZconnect

Kenmore Smart and HZconnect both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 66% of Kenmore Smart's written reviews are positive against 39% of HZconnect's. Kenmore Smart also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 791). HZconnect's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HZconnect holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.9K and 791 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Kenmore Smart's written reviews are positive against 39% of HZconnect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kenmore Smart ships an update every 2 months, HZconnect every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
