# micro vs Abilix Krypton

The clearest difference is rating: Abilix Krypton at 4.0 against micro's 3.3. Abilix Krypton also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). micro's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 18%) and ratings volume (90 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Abilix Krypton holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: micro has 90 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of micro's written reviews are positive against 18% of Abilix Krypton's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

micro ships an update every 7 months, Abilix Krypton every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
