# Daily Weekly Reminder vs Talking Timer

The clearest difference is price: Daily Weekly Reminder at Free against Talking Timer's $1.99. Daily Weekly Reminder also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 2) and review sentiment (70% vs 60%). Talking Timer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 8 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Daily Weekly Reminder is free to download; Talking Timer costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Talking Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Weekly Reminder has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Daily Weekly Reminder's written reviews are positive against 60% of Talking Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Weekly Reminder ships an update every 8 months, Talking Timer every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
