# Trax Retail vs NetSee

The clearest difference is rating: Trax Retail at 4.3 against NetSee's 2.7. Trax Retail also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 18). NetSee's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trax Retail holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trax Retail has 2.1K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of Trax Retail's written reviews are positive against 20% of NetSee's.

Trax Retail ships an update every 10 days, NetSee every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
