# Subsurface vs Dive Story Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Subsurface at 63% against Dive Story Pro's 2%. Subsurface also leads on rating (4.5 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (48 vs 4). Dive Story Pro's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
