# 荔枝 vs 饭角

The clearest difference is ads: 饭角 at none against 荔枝's shown. 饭角 also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 52%). 荔枝's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (888 vs 17). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 荔枝 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 饭角 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

荔枝 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 荔枝 has 888 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of 荔枝's written reviews are positive against 78% of 饭角's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

荔枝 ships an update every 3 weeks, 饭角 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
