# The Pedestal vs Match

The clearest difference is rating: Match at 5.0 against The Pedestal's 4.5. The Pedestal's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Match holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Pedestal has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
