# bgtime.tv vs RNTV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: bgtime.tv at 48% against RNTV's 0%. bgtime.tv also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 61 months) and ratings volume (44 vs 1). RNTV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 15) and rating (4.0 vs 3.8). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. bgtime.tv sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. RNTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

RNTV holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bgtime.tv has 44 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of bgtime.tv's written reviews are positive against 0% of RNTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bgtime.tv ships an update monthly, RNTV every 61 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
