# Cold War Flight Simulator vs GeoFS

The clearest difference is price: GeoFS at Free against Cold War Flight Simulator's $1.99. GeoFS also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 17%) and ratings volume (651 vs 4). Cold War Flight Simulator's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

GeoFS is free to download; Cold War Flight Simulator costs $1.99 up front. Cold War Flight Simulator sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and GeoFS sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cold War Flight Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GeoFS has 651 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Cold War Flight Simulator's written reviews are positive against 60% of GeoFS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cold War Flight Simulator ships an update every 2 months, GeoFS every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
