# NoteRacer vs MTE

The clearest difference is price: NoteRacer at Free against MTE's $2.99. MTE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

NoteRacer is free to download; MTE costs $2.99 up front. NoteRacer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MTE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
