# Saint Michael Wheaton vs Formed

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Saint Michael Wheaton at none against Formed's 9. Formed's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 4) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formed sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Saint Michael Wheaton asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Saint Michael Wheaton against 4.9 for Formed. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formed has 14K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
