# Tic Tac Toe ~ vs Tic

The clearest difference is rating: Tic Tac Toe ~ at 4.6 against Tic's 4.0. Tic Tac Toe ~ also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 8). Tic's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tic Tac Toe ~ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Tic asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tic Tac Toe ~ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tic Tac Toe ~ has 1.5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Tic Tac Toe ~'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Tic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
