# Scriptation vs Teleprompter For Video TeleCue

The clearest difference is rating: Scriptation at 4.8 against Teleprompter For Video TeleCue's 4.3. Scriptation also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 11). Teleprompter For Video TeleCue's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 76%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scriptation sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Teleprompter For Video TeleCue sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scriptation holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scriptation has 3.6K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Scriptation's written reviews are positive against 86% of Teleprompter For Video TeleCue's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scriptation ships an update fortnightly, Teleprompter For Video TeleCue monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
