# ThoroughWorks Classic vs EquiTrace Pro

The clearest difference is rating: ThoroughWorks Classic at 5.0 against EquiTrace Pro's 4.4. ThoroughWorks Classic also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). EquiTrace Pro's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EquiTrace Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. ThoroughWorks Classic asks for nothing beyond the download.

ThoroughWorks Classic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EquiTrace Pro has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
