# Linea Sketch vs Drawing ▫

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Linea Sketch at 62% against Drawing ▫'s 24%. Drawing ▫'s advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Linea Sketch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Drawing ▫ sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drawing ▫ holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawing ▫ has 15K ratings behind it against 802, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Linea Sketch's written reviews are positive against 24% of Drawing ▫'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Linea Sketch ships an update every 3 months, Drawing ▫ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
