# Prep Hoops Tournaments vs Fastbreak Compete

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fastbreak Compete at 100% against Prep Hoops Tournaments's 25%. Fastbreak Compete also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). Prep Hoops Tournaments's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 2.4) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Prep Hoops Tournaments holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prep Hoops Tournaments has 3.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Prep Hoops Tournaments's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fastbreak Compete's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
