# Pa****rd vs Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notes at every 2 weeks against Pa****rd's every 12 months. Pa****rd's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pa****rd sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pa****rd ships an update every 12 months, Notes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
