# QuickTube vs Control.Click

The clearest difference is update cadence: Control.Click at weekly against QuickTube's every 3 weeks. QuickTube's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickTube sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Control.Click sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QuickTube ships an update every 3 weeks, Control.Click weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
