# Hover Racer vs Hyper Drift!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hyper Drift! at 68% against Hover Racer's 0%. Hyper Drift! also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 1). Hover Racer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hover Racer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Hyper Drift! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hover Racer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyper Drift! has 3.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Hover Racer's written reviews are positive against 68% of Hyper Drift!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hover Racer ships an update every 3 months, Hyper Drift! every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
