# Savant vs Cut Shop

The clearest difference is rating: Cut Shop at 5.0 against Savant's 4.4. Savant's advantage is ratings volume (8.6K vs 21) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cut Shop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Savant has 8.6K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Savant ships an update every 2 months, Cut Shop every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
