# Ford™ vs Halo Collar

The clearest difference is rating: Ford™ at 4.8 against Halo Collar's 4.1. Ford™ also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ratings volume (1.5M vs 9.5K). Halo Collar's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 44%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ford™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ford™ has 1.5M ratings behind it against 9.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Ford™'s written reviews are positive against 70% of Halo Collar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ford™ ships an update fortnightly, Halo Collar every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
