# Nike vs Nuuly

Nike and Nuuly both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 66% of Nuuly's written reviews are positive against 25% of Nike's. Nuuly also leads on ads (none vs shown). Nike's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (1.7M vs 31K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Nike against 4.9 for Nuuly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nike has 1.7M ratings behind it against 31K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 25% of Nike's written reviews are positive against 66% of Nuuly's.

Nike ships an update weekly, Nuuly every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
