# TP vs 英汉大词典

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 英汉大词典 at 80% against TP's 32%. TP's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (59 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 英汉大词典 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. TP asks for nothing beyond the download.

TP holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TP has 59 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of TP's written reviews are positive against 80% of 英汉大词典's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TP ships an update every 3 weeks, 英汉大词典 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
