# CardPointe vs PAX

The clearest difference is rating: PAX at 5.0 against CardPointe's 2.6. PAX also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). CardPointe's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
