# BB3 vs 4ever

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BB3 at none against 4ever's 1. BB3 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). 4ever's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 4ever sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. BB3 asks for nothing beyond the download.

BB3 ships an update every 6 months, 4ever weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
