# IPass Illinois vs ATSchool

The clearest difference is rating: ATSchool at 3.0 against IPass Illinois's 1.7. ATSchool also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months). IPass Illinois's advantage is ratings volume (47 vs 1) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPass Illinois sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ATSchool asks for nothing beyond the download.

ATSchool holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPass Illinois has 47 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of IPass Illinois's written reviews are positive against 0% of ATSchool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
