# AnkerBox vs Comet

The clearest difference is rating: Comet at 4.8 against AnkerBox's 2.7. Comet also leads on ratings volume (7.8K vs 15) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). AnkerBox's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. AnkerBox asks for nothing beyond the download.

Comet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comet has 7.8K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of AnkerBox's written reviews are positive against 65% of Comet's.

AnkerBox ships an update fortnightly, Comet weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
