# Lis vs TTReader

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TTReader at 100% against Lis's 38%. TTReader also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). Lis's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TTReader sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Lis asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lis holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TTReader has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Lis's written reviews are positive against 100% of TTReader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lis ships an update every 3 months, TTReader every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
