# Countdown Now vs Halloween

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Halloween at 148 against Countdown Now's 2. Countdown Now's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Now sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Halloween sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Now ships an update every 4 weeks, Halloween every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
