# Cinema Time vs TV Forecast

The clearest difference is price: TV Forecast at Free against Cinema Time's $2.99. TV Forecast also leads on ratings volume (663 vs 103). Cinema Time's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On rating, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

TV Forecast is free to download; Cinema Time costs $2.99 up front. Cinema Time sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and TV Forecast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TV Forecast holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Forecast has 663 ratings behind it against 103, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Cinema Time's written reviews are positive against 59% of TV Forecast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cinema Time ships an update fortnightly, TV Forecast every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
