# 왓챠 vs Kiwi+

The clearest difference is rating: 왓챠 at 4.6 against Kiwi+'s 2.1. 왓챠 also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months). Kiwi+'s advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 왓챠 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Kiwi+ sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

왓챠 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 왓챠 has 3.1K ratings behind it against 102, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of 왓챠's written reviews are positive against 8% of Kiwi+'s.

왓챠 ships an update every 5 days, Kiwi+ every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
