# 왓챠 vs 온디스크(ondisk)

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 온디스크(ondisk) at 91% against 왓챠's 37%. 왓챠's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 왓챠 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and 온디스크(ondisk) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

왓챠 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 왓챠 has 3.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of 왓챠's written reviews are positive against 91% of 온디스크(ondisk)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

왓챠 ships an update every 5 days, 온디스크(ondisk) every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
