# AutologicMobile vs Ford DiagNow

The clearest difference is rating: Ford DiagNow at 4.6 against AutologicMobile's 2.9. Ford DiagNow also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 7). AutologicMobile's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 19%) and monetization model (free vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ford DiagNow holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ford DiagNow has 1.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of AutologicMobile's written reviews are positive against 19% of Ford DiagNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
