# Boukili vs Block Shaper

The clearest difference is rating: Boukili at 4.3 against Block Shaper's 3.6. Boukili also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Block Shaper's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 28%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boukili holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Shaper has 89 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Boukili's written reviews are positive against 54% of Block Shaper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Boukili ships an update every 2 months, Block Shaper every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
