# Google Meet vs Circool

The clearest difference is rating: Google Meet at 4.8 against Circool's 1.0. Google Meet also leads on ratings volume (2.3M vs 1) and chart position (#9 vs unranked). Circool's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Google Meet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Meet has 2.3M ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Google Meet ships an update weekly, Circool every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
