# IT Summit vs School Assistant

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IT Summit at none against School Assistant's 5. IT Summit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). School Assistant's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. School Assistant sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. IT Summit asks for nothing beyond the download.

IT Summit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: School Assistant has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IT Summit ships an update every 5 months, School Assistant every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
