# Wordycat vs Card Shuffle Sort

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wordycat at 71% against Card Shuffle Sort's 28%. Wordycat also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Card Shuffle Sort's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 53) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wordycat sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Card Shuffle Sort sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Card Shuffle Sort holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Card Shuffle Sort has 20K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Wordycat's written reviews are positive against 28% of Card Shuffle Sort's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wordycat ships an update every 4 days, Card Shuffle Sort every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
