# Wingman vs MythSafe

The clearest difference is rating: MythSafe at 5.0 against Wingman's 3.7. MythSafe also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Wingman's advantage is ratings volume (241 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wingman sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and MythSafe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MythSafe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wingman has 241 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wingman ships an update every 3 weeks, MythSafe weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
