# Scrapbook vs recolle

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: recolle at none against Scrapbook's 1. Scrapbook's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 12 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrapbook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. recolle asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scrapbook ships an update every 6 months, recolle every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
